About Chronic Migraine

Living half the month with migraine

Living half the month with migraine
Practical clinical criteria define Chronic Migraine as headaches on at least 15 days per month of which at least 8 days are with migraine. By this definition, people with Chronic Migraine are spending half their month living with debilitating migraine.

In a study of 520 Chronic Migraine patients, 80% were not correctly diagnosed. If you have 15 or more headache days per month and at least 8 of these days are with migraine you should talk to your GP about getting a referral to a Neurologist.
